Ingredients:

ยฐ 1 tsp of black peppercorns
ยฐ 3 tsp cumin seeds
ยฐ 1 tsp Turmeric
ยฐ 2 Cloves
ยฐ 2 pods cardamom
ยฐ 150 g Shishito peppers or any other kind of peppers you like
ยฐ 1 Red Bell Pepper
ยฐ 2 Garlic cloves
ยฐ A cup of fresh coriander chopped
ยฐ 1 tsp of salt
ยฐ Juice from 1 lemon
ยฐ 3 tsp of extra virgin olive oil

ยฐ 1 container of FreshMed Beets & Tahini
ยฐ 1 large onion chopped
ยฐ 300 grams of extra firm tofu cut into strips
ยฐ 2 crushed garlic cloves
ยฐ 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
ยฐ 1 teaspoon cumin
ยฐ 1 teaspoon turmeric
ยฐ 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
ยฐ 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
ยฐ Juice of half a lemon
ยฐ Salt to taste
ยฐ A few tablespoons of frying oil

ยฐ Grind black peppercorn, cumin seeds, turmeric, cloves and cardamom to a fine powder.
ยฐ In a food processor add peppers, garlic, coriander, salt lemon juice and olive oil.
ยฐ Process until you will get a pasty salsa.

ยฐ In a wide frying pan, heat a few tablespoons of Olive oil and fry the onion until golden brown.
ยฐ Add in tofu and stir until seared on all sides
ยฐ Add the garlic and fry for 2 minutes
ยฐ Add Soy Sauce and stir until itโs absorbed into the Tofu
ยฐ Add spices, stir until all tofu is enveloped in the mixture
ยฐ If the mixture is very dry, add a little oil or water
ยฐ Continue stirring for 3-4 minutes until seared and cooked
ยฐ Spread the Beets & Tahini on a plate, place the Shawarma on top, squeeze the Lemon over it, pour green Salsa and garnish with chopped parsley
